These general terms of use, booking conditions, and privacy policy govern the use of the website www.greciaqui.com (hereinafter referred to as “the website” or “GreciAquí”).

Through this website, information is provided about various tourism services (hereinafter “Customized Tours”) for the benefit of the customer, serving as a guide and offering recommendations for cultural activities in Greece.

Due to the content and purpose of the website, individuals who wish to benefit from its services must acquire the status of “Client”, which is obtained by completing the registration form and following the steps subsequently communicated by the website via email. Being a client implies adherence to the terms of use, the version published at the time of accessing GreciAquí’s website.

In any case, there are pages of the website accessible to natural or legal persons who do not register or start a booking of any tour or travel plan (hereinafter, “users”). In this regard, users who access these parts of the website agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out in these general conditions, to the extent applicable to them.

GreciAquí declares that it is a web platform providing information about Greece and its tourist destinations, sharing informative experiences for those considering visiting the country. It also offers users services such as destination advice and planning, tours, excursions, among others, allowing clients the option of purchasing them in a personalized (private) manner.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICES

The descriptions of the services presented on the website are based on information provided directly by the GreciAquí organization. However, the information given about each service, as well as the photographs, videos, and the commercial names, brands, or distinctive signs of any kind contained on the website, are presented on www.greciaqui.com as a guide and for suggestions.

GreciAquí does not offer any type of travel insurance.

PRICES AND VALUES

The travel plans and tourist advisory service do not indicate prices or estimates on the GreciAquí website. The values are estimated according to the type of service or plan requested by the client at the time of the request.

AVAILABILITY

GreciAquí will do everything possible to please all its clients in the demand for services. However, occasionally, due to hardly controllable causes such as human errors, “adverse weather conditions to what was planned,” or incidents in computer systems, it is possible that the quantity finally served differs from the order made to GreciAquí. Nevertheless, every effort will be made to fulfill the complete service that has been reserved.

In the event that the service is not available after the order has been placed, the client will be informed by email of the total or partial cancellation of it. The partial cancellation of the order due to lack of availability does not entitle the cancellation of the entire order.

PAYMENT

To confirm reservations in advance, the client will be asked to pay in advance through GreciAquí’s internal payment system, the value for the travel advisory and planning service, to begin the reservation. This means that the client must accept the indicated value and the confirmation in writing in the contract sent by GreciAquí. The currency used for the payment of the services will be according to the country of receipt. (euros)

The reservation voucher corresponding to the purchase order will be available and can be viewed at reservas@greciaqui.com in the “my account,” “orders” section and will subsequently be sent via email to the address provided by the client.

The client must pay the amount corresponding to their order through payment by credit or debit card (Visa, MasterCard, and/or other similar cards), or via PayPal.

The client must notify GreciAquí of any improper or fraudulent charge on the card used for the reservations, by email or telephone, as soon as possible so that GreciAquí can carry out the appropriate procedures.

SECURITY

GreciAquí has the highest commercially available security measures in the sector. In addition, the payment process operates on a secure server using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. The secure server establishes a connection so that the information is transmitted encrypted using 256-bit algorithms, ensuring that it is only intelligible to the client’s computer and the website. Thus, by using the SSL protocol, it is guaranteed:

That the client is communicating their data to the GreciAquí server center and not to any other that tries to impersonate it.

That between the client and the GreciAquí server center, the data is transmitted encrypted, preventing its possible reading or manipulation by third parties.

FORMALIZATION OF ORDERS

Once the order has been formalized, that is, with the acceptance of the terms of use and the confirmation of the reservation process, GreciAquí will always send an email to the CLIENT confirming the details of the reservation made.

CANCELLATION OF PROGRAMS AND REFUND

GreciAquí must be notified as soon as possible in writing via email of any type of cancellation or modification made by the client, such as date changes or reductions in the number of daily accommodations of clients, number of rooms originally booked, etc.

If the client(s) cancel or reduce the confirmed program, or if the client(s) do not arrive at the destination (Greece) without prior notice, GreciAquí reserves the right to charge for late cancellation or no-show as follows:

If the program has not yet been accepted by the client(s) through the contract and confirmation email:

There is no charge for cancellations before the date of the program officially accepted by the client(s) projected to the date of arrival, and therefore, the money sent by the client(s) to the GreciAquí payment and reservation system will be fully refunded, however, the corresponding withholdings will be made for the cost of sending money between banks and payment systems.

When a program is accepted by the client(s) through the contract and confirmation email:

For cancellations of programs already made between 60 and 30 days before the client(s) arrival date, 30% of the total price of the organization will be charged. (included in the original proposal sent).
For cancellations of programs already made between 30 and 15 days before the client(s) arrival date, 50% of the total price of the organization will be charged. (included in the original proposal sent).
For cancellations of programs already made from 14 to 7 days before the client(s) arrival date, 80% of the total price of the organization will be charged. (included in the original proposal sent).
Cancellations of 6 days or less before the client(s) arrival date will result in a charge of 100% of the price for the organization.

CANCELLATION POLICY OF SUPPLIERS

GreciAquí, upon receiving written notification of the cancellation of the program reserved by the client(s), will inform the person within the next 48 hours regarding the cancellation charges requested by the suppliers themselves, including: hotel rooms (hotel service), boat or plane tickets if applicable, vehicle rentals, or any other type of services/products, according to the program requested by the client(s).

Any responsibility for possible cancellation expenses or other fees requested by the selected suppliers belongs responsibly to the client(s), and GreciAquí has no responsibility whatsoever in the return or claim of any amount between the client(s) and the suppliers.

The same applies in case the client(s) reduce or change any confirmed reservation in the accepted program or if the client(s) do not arrive without prior cancellation.

Suppliers such as: Hotels, ferry shipping companies, vehicle rentals, or any other type of complementary service/product providers, reserve the right to charge cancellation fees for late or no-show as indicated in the terms provided in the accepted program.

In case of adverse weather conditions, and if this prevents the normal departure of the “ferries or planes,” the companies have the right according to navigation norms and procedures to cancel the trip until conditions allow the total safety of people.

In case the travel program has to be modified due to force majeure or actions of third parties (strikes, demonstrations, mass manifestations), and it is necessary to cancel or modify the “hotel program,” GreciAquí is not responsible for covering any type of expense for extra night(s) in hotels, due to cancellation of ferries or planes due to unforeseen weather conditions. The client is aware that there will be extra expenses per night in hotels and fines for cancellation. “Without a doubt, GreciAquí will make the greatest effort and corresponding coordination to normalize the state of the program.”

INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY

GreciAquí holds all rights to the content, design, and source code of this website and, in particular, by way of illustration but not limitation, to the photographs, images, texts, logos, designs, trademarks, trade names, and data included on the web.

Clients and users are warned that such rights are protected by current international legislation relating to intellectual and industrial property. Furthermore, and without prejudice to the foregoing, the content of this website is also considered a computer program, and therefore, all current European community regulations on the matter also apply.

The total or partial reproduction of this website, or any of its contents, without the express and written permission of GreciAquí is expressly prohibited.

Likewise, copying, reproduction, adaptation, modification, distribution, marketing, public communication and/or any other action that involves an infringement of current European and/or international regulations on intellectual and/or industrial property, as well as the use of the website’s contents if not with the prior express written authorization of GreciAquí, is totally prohibited.

Failures or incidents that may occur in communications, deletion, or incomplete transmissions, so that it is not guaranteed that the services of the website are constantly operational.
Errors or damages produced to the website due to inefficient and bad faith use of the service by the client.
Non-operability or problems in the email address provided by the client for the sending of the order confirmation.

In any case, GreciAquí commits to solving the problems that may arise and to offer all the necessary support to the client to reach a quick and satisfactory solution to the incident.

Additionally, GreciAquí has the right to carry out promotional campaigns at defined time intervals to promote the registration of new members in its service. GreciAquí reserves the right to modify the conditions of application of the promotions, extend them by duly communicating it, or proceed to the exclusion of any of the participants in the promotion if any anomaly, abuse, or unethical behavior is detected in their participation.

NULLITY

In the event that any clause of these terms of use is declared null, the other clauses will remain in force and will be interpreted taking into account the will of the parties and the very purpose of these terms of use.

GreciAquí may not exercise some of the rights and powers conferred in this document, which will not imply in any case the waiver of them unless expressly recognized by GreciAquí or statute of limitations of the action in each case corresponds.

MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS OF USE

GreciAquí reserves the right to modify, at any time, the presentation and configuration of the website, as well as these general conditions. Therefore, GreciAquí recommends that the client read them carefully each time they access the website.

Clients and users will always have these terms of use in a visible, freely accessible place for as many queries as they wish to make. APPLICABLE LAW AND ARBITRATION

These terms of use are governed by the applicable Greek legislation on the matter. To resolve any controversy or conflict arising from these terms of use, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Athens.
